David & I (Lori-Ellen) had found when we were working in groups, that one of the key features to a successful caring and healthy team is knowing each other personally as well as professionally. This rapport could then lead into appreciation of the talents and gifts that each person has. And knowing more about the whole person enables tolerance and understanding to the blind spots that we each possess. I like to see these ‘blind spots’ like a learning edge. What was once a weakness, is often drawn to theĀ forefrontĀ to become a strength. Walking into relationship with eyes wide open to embrace all parts of each person is how we work as a team.
We meet regularly for professional supervision as a group to connect with what we value personally as well as professionally. Alignment here is paramount for success and enjoyment at work.
We all have something to offer the community, to offer people.
